Nothing up-and-coming at the moment,
unless you consider plotting in my pyjamas an event.
. . . book plotting, not nefarious plan plotting.
Well, maybe a little of that, too.

FAQs

"Where can I get signed books?"

Owl's Nest Bookstore in Calgary, Alberta is currently stocking the signed Canuckia series. If you'd like my autograph on a short story or collection, please visit Barnfather Books' online shop.
"I'm an Indie Author, too. Would you be willing to review my book?"

Willing? Absolutely! Able? Let's chat. It usually takes me between three to six months to review an indie book because my small press & self-published To Be Read stack verges on towering, but if you can wait, please email me. I respond to bookish inquiries within five business days.
"Your imprint, Barnfather Books, collaborates with other Canadian storytellers. What is that about?"

If you're a Canadian literary artist and would like general or specific information about self-publishing - or you need a hand with your paperback and/or eBook design (front & full cover) and/or formatting (interior text & images) - I'm available to chat or lend you my services. Check out Barnfather Books' website for the details.
"What's up next?"

Currently, I'm plotting my next publication. A big one. I'm hoping to release it in 2026, so I'm busy getting the basics in place so I can write Draft One.
"Will there be another book in the Canuckia series?"

Yes! One more! It takes place in 2160, waaaaaay after the conclusion of We Call Her Rose. That's all I can share at the moment since I don't even have a book title - yet. Or know who the main character is - exactly. Heh.
"Do you lead creative writing workshops and classes?"

I do! If you'd like to learn more about my Authentic Idea Generation workshop, Blend It Like Brecht - and other creative writing classes - please email info@barnfatherbooks.com
